Sunday Easter Bonnet Contest & Kinky Boots Premiere Party

This Sunday, April 16th, is Easter. We thought it would be fun to bring back something that we used to do...an Easter Bonnet Contest. If you are like our Diva of Darkness, Siren, you may be asking "what is an Easter bonnet"? Basically it is a hat decorated with an Easter theme. You can buy them at dollar stores and redecorate them or you can click on the link at the bottom for instructions on how to make a lovely bonnet out of a cereal box. The idea is to be fun, campy, tasteless...This Sunday, wear your Easter bonnet to Faces on Fourth Street and get in free until 11 PM. Then compete for audience applause and you could win $50 cash plus a free pass to get in free through the end of May, 2006. Be creative...and twisted. Sunday, our Main Room doors open @ 10 PM. Our Pantyliners Drag Show starts @ 11 PM. Sunday is 18+ tp enter & 21+ to drink.
If that wasn't enough to get you excited about coming out to Faces on Fourth Street on Easter Sunday, there is more....this Sunday is our Kinky Boots Premiere Party. Kinky Boots is a new comedy, based on a true story, about a family owned British shoe factory, faced with closing, that finds success making Kinky Boots for transvestites. Bring a pair of new, or old but useable shoes on Sunday and there will a limited number of screening passes to see Kinky Boots on Tuesday, April 18th at a special advance screening. The shoes you bring in will be donated to the Homeless Empowerment Project. So, wear your Easter Bonnet to get in free before 11 PM, compete for a cash prize, and bring in your old shoes for free Kinky Boots screening passes.
