Wednesday Battle of the Amateur Drag Queens

If you have not been to the Wednesday Battle of the Amateur Drag Queens @ Faces on Fourth Street, then you are missing a fun show and great party. We launched the Original Wednesday Battle of the Amateur Drag Queens over 5 years ago. The Drag Battle gives newcomers, people who have never done drag before a chance to perform before a live audience. In the last 5 years we have seen some raw talent that has improved and grown to be major performers in St. Louis. Siren, Madison Elise, and Dayona Hilton were all contestants in our Wednesday Drag Battle. Our Drag Battle grew to the point where we sometimes have 10 to 12 contestants. We were the first to launch our Drag Battle and the first to open our doors to 18+ customers. Our Wednesday Drag Battle starts @ 11 PM so you can catch the show, dance a little, and still make it home in time to get some rest. Doors open Wednesday @ 10 PM. Now we know that are some people in St. Louis who miss our show every Wednesday. They have a routine. They go to certain bars every night and never deviate. So, they end up sitting in an empty St. Louis bar until 3 AM, then head over to Faces, after our show is over and after the crowd has thinned out. We encourage you to try something different and break up your week by heading to Faces on Fourth Street on Wednesday to see the Battle of the amateur Drag Queens @ 11 PM. Siren and Victoria Rose host the show. If you want to enter it, bring two songs on quality CD, bring two outfits, and a lot of friends to cheer you on. The contest is open to people who have not done drag for money. Wednesdays are 18+ to enter & 21+ to drink.
